The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has revealed Damien Coorey as the NSW/ACT Broker of the Year, which recognises excellence in the insurance broking profession.
The Broker of the Year Award, sponsored by QBE, goes to an inspiring role model who has demonstrated excellence in broking practice and client advocacy.
Chief Customer Officer – Commercial Lines, QBE Australia Pacific, Jason Clarke said, ” Our broker partners are key to our success at QBE, which is why we’re so proud to partner with NIBA to recognise the best in the business at a regional and national level.”
Congratulating Coorey on behalf of the QBE team, he said, “Standing out amongst such a strong cohort of finalists, and despite an ever-changing and often-challenging industry backdrop, is a truly admirable achievement by Damien.”
“Our state winners have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to client advocacy, technical excellence, customer service, personal development as well as their teams and broking community. They have not only made a significant impact to their customers, teams and local community – but also serve as a powerful source of inspiration to the broader broking industry.”
NIBA CEO Dallas Booth congratulated the winners of the NSW/ACT awards, adding: “We congratulate all the finalists who exemplify the highest standards of professional excellence and competence in general insurance broking.”
“We had a significant number of applications this year and the finalists represent the cream of the crop.”
Congratulations Damien on the outstanding result, and what a way to celebrate CRM Brokers’ 20th year anniversary!
