NIBA Names Damien Coorey as finalist for NSW/ACT Broker of the Year Award

We are extremely proud to have CRM Brokers’ Director, Damien Coorey, named as one of three finalists for the NSW/ACT Broker of the Year Award.

The Broker of the Year Award, sponsored by QBE, goes to an individual broker who is deemed an inspirational role model for the broking community.

NIBA CEO Dallas Booth congratulated the NSW/ACT finalists, adding: “We are delighted to recognise the three finalists who have all demonstrated professional excellence in broking practice.”

Jason Clarke, Chief Customer Officer, Commercial Lines at QBE Pacific, also congratulated the finalists saying they “…have shown an outstanding commitment to their clients, community, colleagues and the broader industry. Earning a place as a finalist, among so many high calibre entrants, is a truly impressive accomplishment.”

Coorey said ” Professionally, this nomination has allowed me to see that the dedication one gives to its industry, despite the often-tiresome solo efforts, ultimately does not go unnoticed — not that recognition is the driver behind it all. Rather, it’s the desire to make a difference and to assist others and knowing ultimately that the ripple effect will reach those in the community who see the role of a broker as a vital function for both business and family alike.”
