CRM Brokers is a specialist insurance broker for the Cleaning industry, having worked with members of the various Associations since 1998. We understand every company is different and we access the most appropriate policy wording to cover each business’s activities.
We arrange a Public Liability program with policy wording endorsements that are specific to the needs of the Cleaning industry. In addition to our Public Liability program we also offer a Cleaners’ Bucket program. This is where we mix Public, Product and Professional Liability into an all-in-one package providing professional indemnity and financial loss cover. This option provides a simple solution for cleaners with potentially uninsured risks.
Our combined programs are ideally suited to small to medium-sized businesses that provide advice or design services but do not have, nor can obtain the traditional Professional Indemnity insurance. It particularly benefits contracting companies that are required by Principals to have Professional Indemnity insurance when offering services such as cleaning or facilities management.
Cover arranged through our program includes:
- Cleaning during business hours – (a minimum of 5 years’ experience required)
- Cover can be provided for sub-contractors*
- Cover provided for loss of documents (excluding own documents)
- Pay-by-the-month option^
- Principal’s endorsement (often required in contracts)
- Shopping Centre (including arcades and mall) cleaning*
- Specialist cleaning e.g. airports, mine sites*
- Your choice of excess*.

Our Cleaners’ Bucket Program (when added to your Public Liability program) provides two (2) further dimensions:
1. Advertising liability
2. Professional services
Plus additional classes:
1. Penalties arising from a claim by a regulatory authority up to $250,000 in the aggregate
2. Fidelity cover up to $250,000 in the aggregate
CRM Brokers are currently the preferred Gold Business Partner of Insurance to the Building Service Contractors Association of Australia (BSCAA NSW). The BSCAA is Australia’s peak industry representative body for the building services industry. The Association members include contractors for cleaning, security, facilities management and grounds maintenance.
